On September 17, Vitebsk /BelTA correspondent/. Participation in elections is another opportunity to express one's civic position. This viewpoint was expressed by the Chairperson of the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee, Natalya Kochanova, in a conversation with a BelTA correspondent. "I do not understand the position of those who call for boycotting elections or do not intend to participate in them. For a true citizen and patriot of their country, such a position is unacceptable," Natalya Kochanova is convinced. Every citizen of Belarus has the right to freely express their point of view, and not only during the election campaign. One should not forget about the work that the authorities are doing with citizens' appeals, emphasized the Chairperson of the City Executive Committee. "A person can express their point of view at a citizen reception at the city executive committee or from a high-ranking official from the capital, and on a direct telephone line with specialists from various departments of executive committees, and at the editorial office of a newspaper, and no constructive proposal will be left without attention," she added. Coming to the polling station is a citizen's duty. "We must appreciate what has been done in our country and be proud of it. If you love your family, your city, your country, you will definitely make the right choice," believes Natalya Kochanova. -0-
