From May 13 to May 23, the State Automobile Inspectorate is conducting raid operations to monitor the timely obtaining of permits for vehicles to participate in road traffic by vehicle owners.

The main goal of the event is to draw the attention of vehicle owners to maintaining their vehicles in technically sound condition.

According to the Code of Administrative Offences, driving a vehicle without a permit for its participation in road traffic is punishable by a warning or a fine of up to 3 base units. In case of repeated commission of the same offense within a year, a fine of 2 to 5 base units is imposed.

We ask all vehicle owners to responsibly approach the maintenance of their vehicles in good working order and remind you that a timely technical inspection is the key to the safety of all road users!
