In accordance with the powers granted by legislation, and following the directive of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee No. 106r dated April 30, 2024, "On Amendments to the Directive of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee No. 68 dated March 18, 2024," a specialist from the Lepel District Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology is conducting control and supervisory measures concerning the improvement of order on the territories and working conditions of agricultural enterprises. A total of 6 economic entities have been inspected. Violations related to the maintenance of territories were identified on the premises of all agricultural enterprises in the Lepel district (scattered household waste, cigarette butts, and scrap metal and tire storage areas were not kept clean and in proper order). At the time of the supervisory measures, documentation confirming that workers handling pesticides had undergone medical examinations was absent. Employees were not fully provided with personal protective equipment (PPE), including workwear, respiratory and eye protection, and specialized footwear. Cleaning in sanitary and production facilities was not carried out to a satisfactory standard at SPF "Zaozerye," KUPSHP "Lepelskoye," and SUP "Prozhektor-agro." Based on the inspection results, orders for the elimination of violations have been issued, and requests for bringing individuals to disciplinary and administrative responsibility have been submitted.
