Swimming Areas in Lepel District

By the Decision of the Lepel District Executive Committee dated June 06, 2024, No. 704 "On defining the places for the use of surface water bodies for recreation, sports and tourism", the following places for the use of surface water bodies for recreation, sports and tourism have been designated on the territory of the Lepel district:



1. within the boundaries of the city beach on Lake Lepel;

2. within the boundaries of the beach on Lake Svyatoye;

3. within the boundaries of the beach of the communal unitary enterprise "Children's Rehabilitation and Health Centre "Zhemchuzhina" on Lake Shchibot;

4. within the boundaries of the beach of the healthcare institution "Lepel Military Sanatorium of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus" on Lake Bobritsa;

5. within the boundaries of the beach of Borovka village on Lake Shchibot.



Except for the specified places, swimming by citizens in other water bodies within the territory of the Lepel district is prohibited. Swimming in prohibited places entails administrative liability under Article 24.42 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus, which provides for an administrative penalty in the form of a fine ranging from one to three basic units.
