In the age of information technology, students search for books online. Indeed, it is convenient and simple. Surely, the problem arises when the required copy cannot be obtained for free.

In the age of information technology, students search for books online. Indeed, it is convenient and simple. Surely, the problem arises when the required copy cannot be obtained for free. In this case, those who don't mind paying do so, while the rest remember the library.

Employees of the central district library offer to use the interlibrary loan service: books will be sent from regional and national collections upon the reader's request. Vitsyebsk Regional Library named after V. I. Lenin, Minsk Regional Library named after A. S. Pushkin, the Presidential Library, the Republican Scientific and Technical Library, the Belarusian Agricultural Library named after I. S. Lupinovich – any of them will send the requested copy to Lepel. The National Library will also come to the rescue – it will provide a photocopy for use only. Ten days – and the book is in the reader's hands. It must be returned within a month.

The service itself is free; the reader covers the cost of postage and photocopying. One nuance – only specialized literature can be ordered through interlibrary loan.
