A direct cargo flight may be established between Orsha and Haikou, China

Andrei Popov, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Guangzhou, participated as the guest of honour in the BRI International Smart Logistics Development Summit 2021, the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Guangzhou informed a BELTA correspondent.

The event was organised by the Guangzhou Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Guangzhou Professional Logistics Association.

In his speech, Andrei Popov acquainted the forum participants with the transport and logistics and investment potential of Belarus, and the prospects for Belarusian-Chinese cooperation in this area.

Representatives of CJSC "Industrial Park Development Company" delivered separate presentations at the conference, showcasing the logistics potential of the "Great Stone" Industrial Park. The management of SemProGroup presented the "Bremno-Orsha" Special Economic Zone and the project for establishing a direct cargo flight route Orsha - Haikou via video link from Haikou.
