The XI International Economic Forum "Innovations. Investments. Prospects" will be held in Vitebsk on May 18 and 19, as reported by the Vitebsk Regional Marketing Centre State Enterprise.

The main economic event of the year in the Vitebsk region will return to Vitebsk's main concert venue – this year, the Summer Amphitheatre and its surrounding area will once again be the epicentre of the forum, hosting traditional presentations of the potential of enterprises and districts of the northern region. The central theme of the forum is formulated as: "Creative Economy – A Bet on the Future," based on the creation and implementation of innovations.

Traditionally, the forum will be opened by a plenary session, featuring speeches by the heads of the Vitebsk region, partner regions, leading enterprises from various sectors, top managers, and business owners. Panel discussions will be organised on topical issues such as innovative import substitution, clusters and technoparks as drivers of regional development, special economic zones and their role in developing industrial cooperation, and building strategies for interaction between education and business. Taking into account the experience of previous years, the events will be held in a combined offline and online format.

The business programme of the forum includes thematic expositions and demonstration sites such as "Territory of Innovations in Industry," "Light Industry – A Platform for Cooperation Opportunities," "Innovations in Pharmacy, Healthcare, and Medicine," "Energy: Resources and Technologies," "Innovative Equipment and Technology," and "Tourism Potential of the Vitebsk Region." At the "Agro-industrial Potential of the Vitebsk Region" exhibition and fair, a wide range of products from Vitebsk manufacturers will be available for tasting. To expand sales markets and establish new partnerships, a subcontracting exchange will be organised for industry, construction, agriculture, transport and logistics, the IT sector, and education.

In 2022, the X International Economic Forum events were attended, including remotely, by 15 delegations from Russian regions, as well as representatives from India and Iran. Within the framework of the forum, 6 documents of various formats were signed on cooperation in the economic and educational spheres.
