The festival programme, which traditionally takes place in the concert hall of St. Sophia Cathedral, includes 7 concerts. Musicians from Belarus, Germany, Italy, France, Austria, Poland, and Brazil are expected to perform.
During the first concert of the festival, the II Children's Piano Competition "Bach and the 21st Century" will be opened. In addition, on March 28, the concert hall of St. Sophia Cathedral will host a piano concert by German pianist Gerlinde Otto.
The grand opening of the anniversary festival will take place on April 4 – the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Belarus (conductor – People's Artist of Belarus Alexander Anisimov) will perform in Polotsk. The concert will feature works by renowned Russian composers Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Sergei Rachmaninoff. On April 7, Polotsk will welcome the international ensemble Auner Quartett, comprising musicians from Austria, Brazil, Poland, and Belarus. The fourth concert of the festival programme is titled "Soul at the Fingertip of the Bow" – musicians from Belarus and France will perform works by Robert Schumann, Johannes Brahms, Maurice Ravel, and others. On April 20, Polotsk will feature music by outstanding Italians Antonio Vivaldi and Giovanni Pergolesi. The programme also includes a performance by Italian organist Eugenio Maria Fagiani and the chamber orchestra "Europe-Center". To conclude the festival on April 27, the ensemble of ancient music The Playfords from Germany will perform Renaissance music in St. Sophia Cathedral.
