Following the grand opening ceremony, audiences will see the festival version of the wordless performance "Caligula" by the Moscow Gubernsky Theatre, led by Sergey Bezrukov. On the same day, in the box of the "Vitebsk" Concert Hall, the Swiss project Joshua Monten Company will present the dance performance "Little Joy". Over the following days, audiences can expect to see productions from Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine. Among the guests are familiar and new creative groups for the public: the "Kyiv Modern-Ballet" Theatre (Ukraine), the "Ballet of Evgeny Panfilov" Theatre, and others. The festival program will conclude with the performance "Rossini Overtures" by the Spellbound Contemporary Ballet company (Italy). On November 20, as part of the festival, it was shown on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, and on November 22, the residents of Gomel will be able to see this production.
The main event of the festival will be the international competition of modern choreography. Among other highlights of the forum are interactive lectures, theoretical masterclasses, seminars, round tables, and exhibitions of painting, sculpture, and photography by Belarusian and Lithuanian artists.
The festival is organised by the "Vitebsk" Cultural Centre. The founders are the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Ministry of Culture, the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, and the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.
