The first International Business Community Forum will be held in Belarus, the press service of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry informed BELTA. The forum will take place on December 14. It is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is the organiser of this event. 250 participants have been invited to the forum, including over 100 foreign guests. Representatives of chambers of commerce and industry, other associations and business circles from Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Ecuador and Japan have already confirmed their participation. The main goal of the event is to identify effective tools for enhancing the role of chambers of commerce and industry in the context of developing regional economic integration, strengthening cooperation between chambers of commerce and industry and international organisations and government bodies, as well as establishing mutually beneficial contacts between representatives of the business community. "It is no coincidence that the forum is being held in the year of the 60th anniversary of the BelCCI. The potential accumulated over decades of work will be presented in the reports and discussions of our colleagues. We believe that the forum will become an effective platform for discussing topical issues of economic integration, will contribute to the development of partnerships between structures of the international business community, and will once again draw their attention to the potential of Belarus as a dynamically developing, promising country with significant trade and economic opportunities," noted the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mikhail Miatlikov. The programme of the international forum includes speeches by the Minister for Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Andrey Slepnev, the Chairman of the Board, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, Sergey Katyrin, the Director for International Cooperation of the Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of European Countries "Eurochambers", Dirk Vanthieghem, and other participants of the event. During the forum, the regular meeting of the Consultative Council of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space member states will also be held.
