The International Forum on Investment and Innovation in Energy Saving will be held in Vitebsk on February 6-7.

30 January, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. The international forum "Investments. Innovations. Prospects" will be held in Vitebsk on 6-7 February, the press service of the Ministry of Energy informed BelTA.

The forum will feature products from over 60 enterprises from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Poland, Austria, Turkey, as well as leading enterprises of the Vitebsk region: RUP "Vitebskenergo", OJSC "Naftan", UP "Polymerkonstruktsiya", OJSC "Vityaz", NCP "Spetssistema", ChPTUP "VEP "Svet", OJSC "Design Bureau "Display". The investment potential of the Vitebsk region will be presented, and international exhibitions on innovative technologies and equipment for energy and resource conservation, and innovations in construction will be held. Current problems and achievements in the field of energy conservation and the impact of energy efficiency on economic security and competitiveness will be the main topics of the forum's plenary session and the international scientific and practical conference. A contact and cooperation exchange will also take place.

Foreign delegations, representatives of the diplomatic missions of Georgia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Latvia, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia in Belarus, as well as trade missions of Germany and Bulgaria, business communities, and representatives of the "Assistance to Regional and Local Development of Belarus" project will participate in the forum.

The Forum is organized by the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, the Vitebsk Regional Department for Supervision of Rational Use of Fuel and Energy Resources, and KKUP "Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center".
