On August 5, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. The international youth festival "Viasiolka nad Bielarusiu. Kroki nad Vitsebskam" opens today in Vitebsk, as reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Palace of Creativity of Children and Youth of the Zheleznodorozhny District of Vitebsk. More than 100 young people from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, and Finland will take part in the festival. For several days, the participants will engage in sports and role-playing games, attend creative workshops, and learn clay modeling, Belarusian belt weaving, and dancing. A memorable event of the forum on August 7 on Pokrovskaya Street will be a performance dedicated to the world-renowned artist Marc Chagall. Its participants will have to improvise and present a colorful theatrical performance. The festival program also includes a bard evening, KVN (Club of the Funny and Resourceful), a photo cross, excursions around Vitebsk, and numerous concert performances. The forum will conclude on August 9 with a grand gala concert. The festival is designed to promote communication between young people from different countries and to create conditions for the creative self-expression of young people. The event is organized by the public association "Christian Fellowship of Adults and Youth" and the Palace of Creativity of Children and Youth of the Zheleznodorozhny District of Vitebsk. -0-
