On November 8, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. An international mini-football tournament will bring together energy workers from five countries in Novolukoml, Chashniki district today, BELTA was informed by the Ideological Work Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
The XX anniversary international mini-football tournament among energy workers from Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, China, and Belarus is organised at the sports complex of Lukomlskaya GRES. This year, 23 teams are scheduled to participate in the competition, including 8 veteran teams over 40 years old. More than 250 athletes are expected in total. "As one of the forms of communication for energy workers from different countries, the international mini-football tournament has become a hallmark of Belarusian energy workers. For several years, teams of energy workers from Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Poland, Lithuania, France, and China have participated in this sports and cultural event," the regional executive committee noted.
Tournament games will be held over four days. The chief referee of the competition is a top national category referee Andrey Vasilkevich. The chief secretary-referee of FIFA is Andrey Zhukov.
The solemn closing of the tournament and the award ceremony for the winners and prize-winners of the competition will take place on November 11. -0-
