6 February, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. A minibus carrying Ukrainian citizens collided with a truck in the Tolochin District of the Vitebsk Region. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by an official of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus. The fatal accident occurred on 5 February. The driver of a Mercedes Vito minibus, at high speed, collided with a truck. Two people died in the road traffic accident, and another 5 were injured. Poor weather conditions were apparently one of the causes of the accident. In total, over the past 24 hours, 17 registered road traffic accidents occurred in Belarus, in which 4 people died and 23 were injured. Over the 24-hour period, 107 drunk drivers were detained. -0-
