In Belarus, weekly direct hotlines are organized by regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee to improve the effectiveness of work with citizens' and legal entities' appeals, eradicate bureaucracy and red tape, and paper-pushing, as well as to promptly resolve pressing issues faced by people. Such direct hotlines were launched in January 2015 and are held on Saturdays.
