March 5, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. A minimum score is planned to be set based on the results of the centralized testing (CT) this year. This was announced today during an online conference on the BelTA website by the Minister of Education, Sergey Maskevich. According to him, in the near future, within its competence, the Ministry of Education will propose a draft document for discussion by all interested parties, establishing the level of the minimum positive score for the 2012 CT in all subjects for admission to higher education institutions. It may not be lower than 7 points. This means that an applicant will not be able to enter a higher education institution with a score below the established threshold. "However, they will be able to exercise their right to enter secondary vocational schools and vocational-technical schools," the minister said.
