The corresponding Resolution of the Ministry of Trade dated July 29, 2014, No. 30 was officially published today on the National Legal Internet Portal, BelTA reports.

August 29, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. Lists of catering products and goods to be included in the assortment lists of catering establishments have been established in Belarus. The corresponding Resolution of the Ministry of Trade dated July 29, 2014, No. 30 was officially published today on the National Legal Internet Portal, BelTA reports.

The lists are established for different categories of catering establishments. For example, the assortment of a luxury or first-class restaurant must include 20 types of cold dishes and appetizers, 5 soups, 15 hot dishes, 7 desserts, etc. In addition, such establishments must offer 24 types of alcoholic beverages (if a special permit (license) for retail trade in this type of product is available).

According to the list, the menus of canteens, snack bars, buffets, and cafeterias must include, among other things, cold dishes and appetizers, hot meals, and flour confectionery and bakery products of own production or industrially produced. At the same time, exceptions are provided for coffee houses. Customers should not expect to have a substantial meal in such establishments. The list for these types of establishments provides for sweet dishes, desserts, hot and cold drinks, and flour confectionery and bakery products.

The assortment of related goods for the listed catering establishments is determined depending on the specific conditions and specifics of their operation. Catering facilities providing roadside services are expected to sell souvenir products.

A separate list is provided for dining cars, buffet compartments, bar compartments, mini-bars, fast-food restaurants and cafes, mini-cafes and summer cafes, as well as for shops and departments of culinary products and food preparation facilities.

The Resolution of the Ministry of Trade dated July 29, 2014, No. 30 comes into force after its official publication.-0-
