Today, an updated Honour Board, featuring the best representatives from various sectors – agriculture and forestry, culture, healthcare, sports, education, and several others – has been unveiled in our town square. These individuals are true professionals in their fields who have made a significant contribution to the prosperity of the Lepel region.

In total, 24 residents of the Lepel district and 9 work collectives have been recognised.

The solemn ceremony of presenting Certificates of Inclusion on the District Honour Board was conducted by the Head of the District, Mikhail Kiselevich.

It is important not only to know and love one's work but also to be able to work with full dedication. And it is entirely deserved to pay tribute to conscientious and honest labour, as it forms the foundation of

the well-being of each of us.

Over the years since the formation of the Lepel district, many worthy names of our fellow countrymen have been inscribed in its history.

The chronicle continues to be enriched with new names of those who demonstrated commendable results in 2023.

Today's event is a public recognition of the labour of individuals and enterprise collectives that have made a significant contribution to the socio-economic development and well-being of the country.

It also serves as a good incentive for achieving even higher results in the future.

A person is beautiful and glorious through their labour; it has been so and will always be. The personal well-being of everyone depends on labour, as we know how happy are those people who can do many things with their own hands; they are the blacksmiths of their own lives.

Thank you, residents of Lepel, for your hard work, for your love of your native region, for your dedication to making the Lepel region even better.

Also today, as part of the ceremony to open the updated Honour Board, a celebration was held for students from educational institutions who achieved high results in the republican stage of subject Olympiads.

Awards were also presented to the educators who prepared our schoolchildren for the competitions.
