August 9, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly Mikhail Myasnikovich met with representatives of the Indian company "Lok-Beta Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd.", as reported to BELTA by the press service of the Council of the Republic.
The meeting discussed, in particular, the organisation of work of the joint venture established by RUP "Belmedpreparaty" and "Lok-Beta Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd." in Skidel. The parties confirmed the previously reached agreements on a two-stage construction: design and project approval in 2016, and commissioning of the enterprise in 2017.
In addition, it was determined that the registration of medicinal products to be manufactured in Belarus with the participation of "Lok-Beta Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd." will be carried out in parallel at the Ministry of Health.
The Chairman of the Council of the Republic drew the attention of the Indian business representatives to the intensification of further cooperation in the field of drug manufacturing, including the expansion of the range of medicines produced in Belarus. -0-
