A wide variety of handmade New Year souvenirs is presented at an exhibition in Vitebsk, BELTA correspondent was informed at the Vitebsk Regional Centre for Folk Arts and Crafts.

A wide variety of handmade New Year souvenirs is presented at an exhibition in Vitebsk, BELTA correspondent was informed at the Vitebsk Regional Centre for Folk Arts and Crafts.

The exhibition brings together works by about a hundred folk art masters from almost all districts of the region. Author's stylized toys, various New Year and Christmas souvenirs, decorative panels, art objects, floral compositions, intricate installations, and Christmas tree decorations are made of birch bark, clay, ceramics, straw, fabrics, beads, and other materials. Colourful Christmas and New Year masks occupy a central place among them.

The exhibition can be visited until January 20. Moreover, all the exhibits presented can not only be admired but also purchased if you like them the most, the Centre for Folk Arts and Crafts noted.
