On January 5, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Republican unitary enterprise for petroleum products supply "Belorusneft - Vitebskoblenefteprodukt" plans to commence trial operation of the first mobile refuelling station in Belarus on the eve of the sowing campaign, the enterprise director Sergey Starovoytov informed a BELTA correspondent. The Beshenkovichi district will serve as the base for the mobile refuelling station. All necessary permits from the republic's ministries and departments and their divisions in the Vitebsk region have been obtained. Tests of the main units of the refuelling station have also been carried out. Currently, preparations are underway for the site of the refuelling station near the village of Ostrovno. Trial operation will allow for practical testing of the mobile refuelling station's performance, refinement of certain units if necessary, and will also show the feasibility of further expanding the fleet of mobile refuelling stations, the interviewee explained. The mobile refuelling station has been designed and created by RUP "Belorusneft-Vitebskoblenefteprodukt" by order of the head of state in accordance with the state programme for the development of refuelling stations. It consists of three tanks, each with a capacity of 5 cubic meters of fuel, and a MAZ-MAN chassis. It will be operated by a driver-operator. The mobile refuelling station operates without an external power source, is automated, equipped with a computer, and has the capability to communicate with the base, as well as an emergency button to call the police. The refuelling station will offer drivers three types of petroleum products for cashless and cash payments, with prices not differing from those at stationary refuelling stations. Thus, the company will cover the costs of petroleum product delivery. According to Sergey Starovoytov, the mobile refuelling station will be convenient for consumers located more than 30 km away from stationary refuelling stations. These are typically rural residents and agricultural organisations. This will allow customers to reduce the number of trips for fuel and save money. RUP "Belorusneft-Vitebskoblenefteprodukt" is part of the state production association "Belorusneft". It was established in 2004. It comprises three branches and two production sites. Wholesale and retail trade of motor fuel, and retail trade are carried out through a network of refuelling stations, shops, and wholesale warehouses in the Vitebsk region. The enterprise operates over 60 refuelling stations in the region.-0-
