The Russian-Belarusian creative youth gathering "In Motion" will take place from August 7 to 11 and will continue the implementation of cross-border cooperation agreements between youth organizations of the Vitebsk and Smolensk regions, as reported to a BELTA correspondent by the chairman of the Smolensk regional public organization of the Russian Union of Youth, Evgeny Zakharenkov.
The gathering will be held in one of the most beautiful and picturesque places in the Smolensk region - at the children's health camp "Prudok" in the Shumyachsky district. Master classes and experience exchange are planned in various creative fields (dance, vocals, acting, public speaking, music, etc.). Participants can expect a rich sports and leisure program. Applications will be accepted until July 23. Both individual participants and creative groups can apply – young people aged 14 to 25 with no health restrictions and with experience in creative activities.
The event will continue the implementation of the project "Russian-Belarusian Festival of Contemporary Creativity 'Towards the Stars'," the key events of which took place in April.
Youth organizations of the two regions are implementing a joint project "Union Brotherhood." In January of this year, the first Belarusian-Russian open dialogue took place with the participation of representatives of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRSM, the Smolensk Regional Organization of the Russian Union of Youth, and the autonomous non-profit organization "For the Future." At the same time, a plan of events for the project was finalized, and agreements were signed between the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRSM and each of the two Smolensk partners, including the participation of youth from the Belarus region in the "Towards the Stars" festival.
