On June 26, 2019, the twelfth regular session of the Lepel District Council of Deputies of the twenty-eighth convocation was held. The session was attended by deputies of the District Council of Deputies, the leadership of the District Executive Committee, chairpersons of rural executive committees, heads of departments and divisions of the district executive committee, heads of organizations, enterprises and institutions of the district, and chairpersons of the standing commissions of the Youth Chamber.
Opening the meeting, the Chairman of the Lepel District Council of Deputies, Igor Gennadievich Urban, drew the attention of the deputies and invited guests to the importance of the main issue under consideration – the implementation of the State Program "Education and Youth Policy" for 2016-2020 in the district.
Presenting a report on this issue, Karpytski Anatoly Mikhailovich, Head of the Education Department of the Lepel District Executive Committee, stated that the district has created the necessary conditions to meet students' needs for quality education, taking into account individual abilities, aptitudes, and interests. Lebed Oleg Valerievich, Director of the educational institution "Lepel State Agrarian-Technical College," spoke about the development of the vocational-technical and secondary specialized education system in the district. Borodeiko Elena Ivanovna, Head of the Ideological Work, Culture, and Youth Affairs Department of the Lepel District Executive Committee, reported on the implementation of youth policy. Khombak Veronika Alexandrovna, Director of the educational institution "Lepel Children's Art School" and Deputy of the Lepel District Council of Deputies of the twenty-eighth convocation for the Polsvizh electoral district No. 16, shared the results of the institution's work and prospects for identifying, supporting, and developing children's creative abilities. Skorbo Elena Fedorovna, Head of the Sports and Tourism Sector of the Lepel District Executive Committee and Chairperson of the standing commission of the Lepel District Council of Deputies of the twenty-eighth convocation on social sphere, social protection of citizens, and youth affairs, highlighted issues of organising physical education and health-improving work with youth, the development of mass sports, and the system of training sports reserves in her speech. Kravtsov Andrey Vladimirovich, Second Secretary of the district committee of the public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union," reported on the activities of the Lepel District organization of the public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" in implementing youth policy.
In addition, the session considered issues regarding the management of property complexes, shares (stakes in the authorized capital), and amendments to previously adopted decisions of the District Council of Deputies.
Appropriate decisions were made on all issues on the agenda.
