On September 14, Verkhnedvinsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. A young man was killed during a robbery in Vitebsk. This is the main version of the investigation, as reported to journalists today by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Belarus, Valery Vakulchik, in response to a question from a BELTA correspondent. In the evening of September 12, a man born in 1992 was murdered in Vitebsk. The body with a gunshot wound was discovered on the morning of September 13 in a car. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 139 "Murder" of the Criminal Code of Belarus. The man worked part-time as a taxi driver, was a candidate for master of sports in taekwondo, and, as the investigation believes, attempted to resist. An investigative team comprising the most experienced investigators of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Investigative Committee has been formed to investigate this crime. Investigators and experts have carried out meticulous work, identified traces, and established witnesses. The investigation is considering several versions of the incident, however, murder for the purpose of property theft is the primary one.
