Young representatives of Belarusian science have all the opportunities for promising scientific research. This point of view was expressed by Viktor Shadurksy, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations of Belarusian State University (BSU), Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, speaking at the VI Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists of the Faculty of International Relations "International Relations: History, Theory, Practice", according to a BELTA correspondent.
According to Viktor Shadurksy, young people should play a more significant role in scientific research. New ideas and innovations are particularly in demand in the modern development model of Belarus, and it is young scientists who have a lot to do. Moreover, the state level provides support for talented young people, including scientists.
In turn, Ekaterina Deykalo, Chairperson of the Council of Young Scientists of the Faculty of International Relations of BSU, Candidate of Juridical Sciences, Associate Professor, said that the Council, which was established in 2009, has 16 members, three of whom are Candidates of Sciences. The holding of scientific and practical conferences and meetings of young scientists, during which important and relevant topics are discussed, has become traditional.
This time, the conference is dedicated to topical aspects of foreign policy, diplomatic and consular practice in modern international relations. In addition, the practice of applying international law in modern conditions and topical issues of private international law were discussed. Modern trends in the development of the world economy and the topic of customs affairs were also considered. Among the topics covered was the conjunction of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Eurasian Economic Union.
The organizers of the conference, along with the Faculty of International Relations of BSU, included the International Public Association for Research and Educational Programmes "Development", the Centre for Foreign Policy and Security Studies, the Public Association for European Studies, and the Public Association "International Law Society".
