Participants of the Belarusian-Russian gathering of young teachers, which is taking place during the "Where Does the Motherland Begin?" festival of border region youth, led by Vladimir Terentyev, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, will clear fallen leaves and plant trees near the "Vitebsk" concert hall.
"We want to inspire youth not only from our country but also from Russia to perform good and useful deeds. After all, our countries are a common home where we live and strive to make it better," shared Vyacheslav Khrol, acting first secretary of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of BRSM.
The events of the "#ZaDelo!" project are aimed at engaging every young person in the improvement and tidying up of their small homeland. Similar actions are taking place across the country.
Furthermore, a youth park is planned to be opened in Vitebsk on October 29th, the day of the 100th anniversary of Komsomol, in the Medtsentr microdistrict.
The "Where Does the Motherland Begin?" festival of border region youth is underway in Vitebsk. The festival venues will host the "If They Say the Word 'Motherland'" media projects competition, the Russian-Belarusian gathering of young teachers, the "Interregional Cooperation" youth projects competition, and the "I Create Good" project. The festival has brought together youth from the Vitebsk region and various cities in Russia.
