The Oath Day became an unforgettable event for hundreds of young recruits called up for service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. In all military units of our country, young soldiers solemnly recited the lines of the oath of impeccable service to the Republic of Belarus.
At the 19th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade, stationed in the village of Zaslonava, neat ranks of event participants – officers, warrant officers, and soldiers – lined up on the square. To the brisk sounds of the brass band, representatives of the flag group entered the square. The anthem of the Republic of Belarus was played. And then the important and exciting moment began. Young soldiers, one by one, stepped out of the ranks with a brisk pace and began to recite the already well-known lines: "I, a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, solemnly swear..." The Deputy Commander of the North-Western Operational Command, Major General Vladimir Kulazhin, the Chairman of the District Executive Committee Mikhail Kiselevich, and other distinguished guests of the brigade approached the soldiers, expressed their sincere congratulations, and firmly, manfully shook their hands.
In the short time spent in the army, yesterday's youths have matured, acquired a special firmness, decisiveness, and responsibility. It is no coincidence that service in the Armed Forces is a school for real men. Parents looked at their sons with pride, as many mothers, sisters, and loved ones did not hide their sincere tears of joy...
