Monitoring of CJSC "Avers-Lepel"

The Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations reports that in March, department employees conducted a monitoring of the "Teremok" restaurant owned by CJSC "Avers-Lepel", located at: Lepel district, Rudnya village, Tsentralnaya street, building 17, and the "555" cafe and hotel owned by CJSC "Avers-Lepel", located at: Minskoye Shosse, M-3 highway, 155 km + 500m to the right, building 1.

During the aforementioned work, the following violations were identified upon inspection of the buildings and structures:

- Training of employees involved in the operation of heat-generating equipment, who are responsible for conducting fire safety briefings, and employees responsible for fire safety of the business entity, according to the fire safety minimum programs determined by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, has not been organised.

At the "Teremok" restaurant owned by CJSC "Avers-Lepel", located at: Lepel district, Rudnya village, Tsentralnaya street, building 17:

- Locks on doors located on evacuation routes (central external evacuation door) do not allow for their free opening from the inside without a key.

At the "555" hotel owned by CJSC "Avers-Lepel", located at: Minskoye Shosse, M-3 highway, 155 km + 500m to the right, building 1:

- On the first floor, the fire evacuation plan does not comply with the requirements of Appendix 2 to Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations No. 82 (the procedure for actions in case of fire is not specified);

- The attic space is not used in accordance with its design documentation (there are built-in premises).

At the "555" cafe owned by CJSC "Avers-Lepel", located at: Minskoye Shosse, M-3 highway, 155 km + 500m to the right, building 1:

- Locks on doors located on evacuation routes (external evacuation doors from the dining room, from the coffee shop, from the central exit of the cafe building) do not allow for their free opening from the inside without a key.

In buildings equipped with a fire alarm system, a check was carried out together with representatives of the servicing organisations.

for the purpose of checking the serviceability and operability of the systems. No violations were detected during the work performed.

Evacuation plans for fire or other emergency situations, as well as instructions on fire safety rules, were practiced with the staff of the institutions.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Art. 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire prevention measures in their respective organizations.
