The Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations informs that in June, department employees conducted a monitoring of the "Four Seasons" hotel owned by sole proprietor "Makhotina N.V.".
During the aforementioned work, the following violations were identified upon inspection of the buildings and structures:
- The operability and proper functioning of the automatic fire alarm system were not ensured (the system was not technically maintained);
- The operability and proper functioning of the automatic fire alarm system were not ensured (10% of the installed fire detectors were missing at the facility);
- In the hotel's residential premises intended for temporary accommodation of people, schematic evacuation plans for individuals from the respective floor, guidelines with fire safety rules for residents, and instructions for actions in case of fire were not posted in visible locations;
- The fire evacuation plan was not developed in accordance with the requirements of Appendix 2 to Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations No. 82;
- The door of the emergency exit, located on the right side of the building from the main entrance, was obstructed (nailed shut with a sheet of plywood).
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire prevention regulations within their respective organizations.
