The Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations reports that an employee of the department conducted a monitoring visit to the Educational Institution "Gymnasium named after I.M. Yerashov of Lepel".
During the aforementioned work, it was established that upon visiting the Educational Institution "Gymnasium named after I.M. Yerashov of Lepel", a violation of clause 3.1 of the "General Fire Safety Requirements for the Maintenance and Operation of Capital Structures (Buildings, Structures), Isolated Premises and Other Objects Belonging to Business Entities", approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 7 of 23.11.2017, was identified, namely:
- the operability and proper functioning of the automatic fire alarm system were not ensured, and no contract was concluded with a specialized organization for its technical maintenance.
Evacuation plans in case of fire or other emergency situations were practiced with the staff of the institutions, as well as briefings on compliance with fire safety rules.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire prevention measures in their respective organizations.
