Monitoring of the "Lepelka" store of the "Lepelsky MKC" branch of OJSC "Vitebsk Meat Processing Plant"

The Supervision and Prevention Sector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of the building and premises of the "Lepelka" shop, a branch of the "Lepel MCC" of the OJSC "Vitebsk Meat Packing Plant".

During the aforementioned work, the following violations were identified upon visiting the shop building:

- The operability and proper functioning of the automatic fire alarm system are not ensured (loop No. 6 of the system is faulty);

- The operability and proper functioning of the automatic fire alarm system are not ensured (10% of the installed spare fire detectors at the facility are missing).

During the monitoring of buildings equipped with a fire alarm system, a check of the system's serviceability and operability was carried out jointly with representatives of UP "Vitebsk Fire Protection Works" of the RGOO "BDPO".

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and the fire prevention regime in their respective organizations.
