In April of the current year, employees of the supervision and prevention inspectorate of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of the Educational Institution "Gymnasium named after I.M. Yerashov of Lepel city".
During the monitoring, the following violations of the general fire safety requirements for the maintenance and operation of capital structures (buildings, structures), isolated premises and other facilities belonging to business entities were identified: the automatic fire alarm system is in a faulty and inoperable condition, the building is not equipped with serviceable primary fire extinguishing means, it is not ensured on all evacuation routes that locks (latches) on external evacuation doors can be freely opened from the inside without a key.
Based on the results of the monitoring, the head of the institution was issued recommendations for the elimination of violations.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and the fire prevention regime in their respective organizations.
