In April of the current year, employees of the inspection of supervision and prevention of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 1 of Lepel".
As a result of the inspection of the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 1 of Lepel", violations of the general fire safety requirements for the maintenance and operation of capital structures (buildings, structures), isolated premises and other facilities belonging to business entities were identified: the automatic fire alarm system in the senior school building is in a faulty and inoperable condition; in the junior school building, the doors of the evacuation exit and the door leading to the stairwell are installed to open not in the direction of exit from the building; in the junior building, a flight of stairs leading from the second floor to the first has been dismantled.
Based on the results of the monitoring, recommendations for eliminating the violations were issued to the head of the institution.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and the fire prevention regime in their respective organizations.
