In March, the Supervision and Prevention Sector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of dormitories owned by KUPP "Borovka", located at: Lepel, Kalinin St., 90a; Lepel, Kalinin St., 75; Lepel, Orshanskoye Shosse St., 1a, with the aim of eliminating causes and conditions conducive to emergencies.
The Supervision and Prevention Sector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of dormitories owned by KUPP "Borovka", located at: Lepel, Kalinin St., 90a; Lepel, Kalinin St., 75; Lepel, Orshanskoye Shosse St., 1a, in March, with the aim of eliminating causes and conditions conducive to emergencies.
The following violations were identified as a result of the measures taken:
- not all doors of the stairwells of the dormitories located at: Lepel, Kalinin St., 90a; Lepel, Orshanskoye Shosse St., 1a, are equipped with self-closing devices
- the readiness for use of fire protection and firefighting equipment (fire extinguishers and hydrants) in the dormitories located at: Lepel, Kalinin St., 75; Lepel, Orshanskoye Shosse St., 1a, was not ensured;
- the fire evacuation plan for the dormitory at: Lepel, Kalinin St., 75, does not comply with the requirements.
During the monitoring, in buildings equipped with a fire alarm system, a check for the serviceability and operability of the system was carried out jointly with representatives of UP "Polotsk Enterprise of Fire-Fighting Works" RGOO "BDPO". No violations were identified during the work performed.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and the fire-fighting regime in their respective organizations.
