The Supervision and Prevention Sector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 1 of Lepel", as well as a monitoring of the Polotsk Fire Prevention Works Enterprise of the Republican Public Association "Belarusian Voluntary Fire Society".
The Supervision and Prevention Sector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a monitoring of the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 1 of Lepel", as well as a monitoring of the Polotsk Fire Prevention Works Enterprise of the Republican Public Association "Belarusian Voluntary Fire Society".
During the monitoring, it was established that the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 1 of Lepel" does not fully comply with the requirements for ensuring safe evacuation in case of fire, and general requirements for ensuring fire safety at the facility. During the monitoring of the Polotsk Fire Prevention Works Enterprise of the Republican Public Association "Belarusian Voluntary Fire Society", no violations of legislation were identified in the course of activities related to the technical maintenance of fire alarm systems for the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 1 of Lepel".
Evacuation plans for fire or other emergency situations, as well as instructions on fire safety rules, were practiced with the staff.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire prevention regulations in their respective organizations.
