The Supervision and Prevention Sector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted monitoring of all preschool educational institutions located in the territory of the Lepel District, with the aim of eliminating causes and conditions conducive to emergencies.

Based on the results of the measures taken, the following violations of the "General Fire Safety Requirements for the Maintenance and Operation of Capital Structures (Buildings, Structures), Isolated Premises and Other Objects Belonging to Business Entities", approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of November 23, 2017 No. 7 "On the Development of Entrepreneurship" (hereinafter referred to as the GTS), were identified in the institutions, namely:
SESO "Borovskoye Nursery-Garden of the Lepel District":
not all doors located on evacuation routes are equipped with a lock that allows them to be opened freely from the inside without a key (Clause 48 of the GTS).
SESO "Domzheritskoye Nursery-Garden of the Lepel District":
not all doors located on evacuation routes are equipped with a lock that allows them to be opened freely from the inside without a key (Clause 48 of the GTS).
SESO "Polsvizhskoye Nursery-Garden of the Lepel District":
not all doors located on evacuation routes are equipped with a lock that allows them to be opened freely from the inside without a key (Clause 48 of the GTS);
the object terminal device of the fire alarm system for transmitting fire alarm notifications is missing (Clause 3.1 of the GTS, Appendix X, Table X.1, Clause 1 of SN 2.02.03-2019 "Fire Automation of Buildings and Structures");
corridors are not equipped with serviceable primary fire extinguishing means (fire extinguishers) in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of May 18, 2018 No. 35 (Clause 54 of the GTS, Order of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of May 18, 2018 No. 35).

Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 1 of Lepel":
The facility-based terminal device of the fire alarm system's fire notification transmission system is missing (Clause 3.1, OTPB, Appendix X, Table X.1, Item 1 of SN 2.02.03-2019 "Building and Structure Fire Automation").

Educational Institution "Matyrinsky Kindergarten of Lepel District":
The facility-based terminal device of the fire alarm system's fire notification transmission system is missing (Clause 3.1, OTPB, Appendix X, Table X.1, Item 1 of SN 2.02.03-2019 "Building and Structure Fire Automation").
Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 6 of Lepel":
Not all fire hydrants have been tested for water discharge (Clause 57 of the OTPB, Clause 4 of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Resolution dated 15.05.2018 No. 34 "On Approval of the Instructions on the Procedure for Checking the Condition of External and Internal Fire Water Supply").
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire prevention regulations in their respective organizations.
