The Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations reports that in April, department employees conducted monitoring at: Educational Institution "Bobrovskaya Primary School of Lepel District", Educational Institution "Lepel District Socio-Pedagogical Center", State Nature Protection Institution "Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve".
During the aforementioned work, the following violations were identified upon inspection of buildings and structures:
State Nature Protection Institution "Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve":
Recreation Centre "Plavno":
the evacuation door in the bathhouse building is not equipped with a lock that allows it to be opened freely from the inside without a key;
- the bathhouse building does not ensure the readiness for use of fire protection equipment (locations of fire extinguishers are not marked with signs in accordance with GOST 12.4.026-2015 requirements);
- the bathhouse building does not ensure the operability and proper functioning of fire protection equipment (the fire alarm control panel is faulty).
Boiler Room of the Drying Complex:
- the operability and proper functioning of fire protection equipment is not ensured (the automatic fire alarm system is faulty).
The causes and conditions contributing to the commission of the specified violations were the insufficient knowledge of officials regarding the requirements of regulatory legal acts in the field of fire safety.
No fire safety violations were identified at the Educational Institution "Bobrovskaya Primary School of Lepel District" and the Educational Institution "Lepel District Socio-Pedagogical Center".
In buildings equipped with a fire alarm system, a check of the systems' operability and proper functioning was carried out together with representatives of the servicing organizations. No violations were identified during this work, except for the aforementioned facilities.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and the fire prevention regime within their respective organizations.
