Monitoring of buildings and structures of the Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 1 of Lepel", Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 2 of Lepel"

The Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations reports that department employees conducted monitoring at the Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 3 of Lepel", the Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 4 of Lepel", and the Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 5 of Lepel".

During the aforementioned work, the following violations were identified during visits to the Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 3 of Lepel", the Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 4 of Lepel", and the Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 5 of Lepel":

Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 3 of Lepel", Lepel, Sovetskaya St., 77

- Training on fire safety minimum programs for employees responsible for fire safety of the business entity, and members of volunteer fire brigades from among the employees of the business entity has not been organised.

- The facility-wide fire safety instructions do not comply with the requirements of Appendix 1 to the Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus dated 21.12.2021 No. 82 "On Fire Safety Assurance".

- A 10% reserve of fire detectors is missing at the facility.

Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 4 of Lepel", Lepel, Kalinina St., 73

- Locks on the doors of evacuation exits do not fully ensure the possibility of opening them from the inside without a key.

Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 5 of Lepel", Lepel, Zelenaya St., 4.

- Training on fire safety minimum programs for employees responsible for fire safety of the business entity, and members of volunteer fire brigades from among the employees of the business entity has not been organised.

- The facility-wide fire safety instructions do not comply with the requirements of Appendix 1 to the Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus dated 21.12.2021 No. 82 "On Fire Safety Assurance".

- A 10% reserve of fire detectors is missing at the facility.

- A fire evacuation plan for people, approved by the head of the business entity in the form determined by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, is missing on the first floor of the building.

During the monitoring conducted in buildings equipped with a fire alarm system, a check of the system's serviceability and operability was carried out jointly with representatives of UP "Polotsk Fire Protection Works" RGOO "BDPO". No violations were detected during the work performed.

Evacuation plans for fire or other emergency situations were practiced with the staff of the institutions, and briefings on fire safety rules compliance were also held.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire prevention regime in their respective organizations.
