The Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations reports that in December, department employees conducted monitoring of the State Educational Institution "Domzheritskoye Kindergarten of Lepel District", the State Educational Institution "Lepel District Center for Correctional and Developmental Education and Rehabilitation", and the State Educational Institution "Polsvizhskoye Kindergarten of Lepel District".

The Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations reports that in December, department employees conducted monitoring of the State Educational Institution "Domzheritskoye Kindergarten of Lepel District", the State Educational Institution "Lepel District Center for Correctional and Developmental Education and Rehabilitation", and the State Educational Institution "Polsvizhskoye Kindergarten of Lepel District".

During the aforementioned work, the following violations were identified upon inspection of the buildings and structures:

State Educational Institution "Domzheritskoye Kindergarten of Lepel District":

An introductory fire safety briefing is not conducted for persons hired for permanent employment at the State Educational Institution "Domzheritskoye Kindergarten of Lepel District". A repeat fire safety briefing is not conducted annually for all employees;

An assessment of readiness for the use of fire hydrants is not carried out;

Following the results of training exercises for the evacuation of people from buildings in case of fire, an act of arbitrary form is not drawn up, which indicates the date of the exercises, the measures taken in accordance with the general fire safety instructions for the facility, the officials who conducted the exercises, and the number of participants;

The locations of fire extinguishers and fire hydrants in the kindergarten are not marked with signs in accordance with the requirements of GOST 12.4.026-2015;

The operability and serviceability of fire extinguishing equipment are not ensured;

A 10% reserve of fire detectors is missing at the facility.

State Educational Institution "Polsvizhskoye Kindergarten of Lepel District":

Introductory and initial fire safety briefings are not conducted for persons hired for temporary employment at the State Educational Institution "Polsvizhskoye Kindergarten of Lepel District". A repeat fire safety briefing is not conducted for all employees.

The locations of fire extinguishers and fire hydrants in the kindergarten are not marked with signs in accordance with the requirements of GOST 12.4.026-2015.

The locks on doors located on evacuation routes (the main external evacuation door) do not allow for free opening from the inside without a key.

No violations of fire safety requirements were identified at the Educational Institution "Lepel District Center for Correctional and Developmental Education and Rehabilitation".

In buildings equipped with a fire alarm system, a check of the system's serviceability and operability was carried out together with representatives of the servicing organizations. No violations were identified during the work performed.

Fire and other emergency evacuation plans were practiced with the staff of the institutions, as well as briefings on compliance with fire safety rules.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Art. 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire prevention measures within their respective organizations.
