The Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations reports that in October, department employees conducted monitoring of the Lepel RGS branch of PU "Chashnikygaz" and the branch of the road maintenance department No. 37 of RUP "Vitebskavtodor".

The Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations reports that in October, department employees conducted monitoring of the Lepel RGS branch of PU "Chashnikygaz" and the branch of the road maintenance department No. 37 of RUP "Vitebskavtodor".

During the aforementioned work, it was established that upon visiting the buildings and structures of the above-mentioned institutions, the following violations were identified:

Branch of the road maintenance department No. 37 of RUP "Vitebskavtodor":

- Primary fire extinguishing means (fire extinguishers) are in disrepair in the buildings of the repair and mechanical workshops and in the storage facility of LDD No. 371 (Clause 3.1 of OTPB);

- In the administrative building on the 1st and 2nd floors, the fire evacuation plan is not developed in accordance with Appendix 2 to the Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations No. 82 (Clause 45 of OTPB);

- Evacuation routes and emergency exits in garage and storage areas are not marked with fire safety signs provided for by technical regulatory legal acts (Clause 44 of OTPB);

- The automatic fire alarm system is in disrepair and not operational (Clause 3.1 of OTPB);

Lepel RGS branch of PU "Chashnikygaz":

Following the monitoring, no violations of fire safety requirements were identified.

During the monitoring in buildings equipped with a fire alarm system, a check of the system's serviceability and operability was carried out jointly with representatives of UP "Polotsk Enterprise of Fire Protection Works" RGOO "BDPO". No violations were found during this work.

Evacuation plans for fire or other emergencies, as well as instructions on fire safety rules, were practiced with the employees of the institutions.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire prevention measures in their respective organizations.
