Monitoring of buildings and structures in June

The Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations reports that in June, department employees conducted monitoring activities at: KFH "Ozimka" and "Santa Super" stores of OOO "Santa Retail".

During the aforementioned work, the following violations were identified upon visiting the buildings and structures:

KFH "Ozimka":

- A general fire safety instruction has not been developed;

- The operability and serviceability of fire extinguishing means are not ensured (fire extinguishers are inoperable and out of order (recharge date has expired);

- Training according to the fire-technical minimum program has not been organised for the head of the business entity; employees operating heat-generating equipment; employees responsible for the preparation and execution of hot work; employees engaged in the harvesting, processing, and storage of grain and leguminous crops and roughage, in accordance with clause 15 of the Instruction on the procedure for training employees on fire safety issues and verifying their knowledge in this area, approved by Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations No. 82;

- Introductory and initial fire safety briefings have not been conducted with all employees;

- Tractors MTZ-82 and MTZ-3022 are not fully equipped with primary fire extinguishing means, in accordance with clause 21 of the Annex to the Instruction on the norms for equipping facilities with primary fire extinguishing means, approved by Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations No. 82;

- Combine harvesters KZ-1218 are not fully equipped with primary fire extinguishing means, in accordance with clause 22 of the Annex to the Instruction on the norms for equipping facilities with primary fire extinguishing means, approved by Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations No. 82;

- The presence of fire safety information stands has not been organised;

- For the building and premises of the repair workshops, categories of explosion and fire hazard have not been determined in accordance with the criteria established by the Ministry of Emergency Situations;

- Evacuation routes and emergency exits from the repair workshop building are not marked with fire safety signs as required by technical normative legal acts.

No violations of fire safety requirements were identified in the "Santa Super" stores of "Santa Retail" LLC.

In buildings equipped with a fire alarm system, a check for the serviceability and operability of the systems was carried out jointly with representatives of the servicing organizations. No violations were identified during the work performed.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire prevention regulations within their respective organizations.
