The Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations reports that in July, department employees conducted monitoring at the following institutions: Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 2 of Lepel" and Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 6 of Lepel".
The Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations reports that in July, department employees conducted monitoring at the following institutions: Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 2 of Lepel" and Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 6 of Lepel".
During the aforementioned work, the following violations were identified upon inspection of the buildings and structures:
Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 2 of Lepel":
- 10% of the installed stock of fire detectors at the facility are missing;
- the fire evacuation plan has not been developed in accordance with the requirements of Appendix 2 to Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations No. 82.
Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 6 of Lepel":
- smoke-tight doors on the first and second floors of stairwells are allowed to be fixed in the open position;
- the operability and serviceability of the automatic fire alarm system are not ensured.
In buildings equipped with a fire alarm system, a check for the serviceability and operability of the systems was carried out together with representatives of the servicing organisations. No violations were identified during this work.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organisations are obliged to ensure fire safety and the fire prevention regime within their respective organisations.
