In September, the Inspection of Supervision and Prevention of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted monitoring of facilities in the town of Lepel.

Thus, during the monitoring, the following were visited: PU "Chashnikygaz" Lepel RGS, branch Lepel Bakery of OJSC "Vitebskhlebprom".

During the monitoring, a number of violations of the requirements of regulatory documents for ensuring fire safety were identified, namely:

PU "Chashnikygaz" Lepel RGS:

- evacuation plans for people in case of fire have not been developed in accordance with the requirements of TNPA;
- cylinders with compressed and liquefied petroleum gas with a volume of 40 litres or more lack protective caps;
- employees of the facility who are members of the voluntary fire brigade and employees involved in the implementation of the evacuation plan for people from buildings and structures in case of fire are not fully provided (there are 5 units) with personal protective equipment for the respiratory organs and eyes necessary for the evacuation of people in the event of a fire.

Branch Lepel Bakery of OJSC "Vitebskhlebprom":

- evacuation plans for people in case of fire have not been developed in accordance with the requirements of TNPA;
- doors of emergency exits from the building are locked;
- the door leading from the bakery to the street opens not in the direction of movement;
- employees of the facility who are members of the voluntary fire brigade and employees involved in the implementation of the evacuation plan for people from buildings and structures in case of fire are not provided with personal protective equipment for the respiratory organs and eyes necessary for the evacuation of people in the event of a fire.

Evacuation plans for the case of fire or other emergency situations were practiced with the employees of the facilities, as well as briefings on compliance with fire safety rules.
