In October, the Supervision and Prevention Inspectorate of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted inspections of facilities in the town of Lepel and the district.
In October, the Supervision and Prevention Inspectorate of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted inspections of facilities in the town of Lepel and the district.
During these inspections, the following were visited: OJSC "Vitebskles" Lepel Timber Industry Enterprise, KFH "Anoshki Agro".
A number of violations of fire safety requirements were identified during the inspections, namely:
OJSC "Vitebskles" Lepel Timber Industry Enterprise:
- The facility-wide fire safety instructions have not been developed in accordance with the requirements set by the Ministry of Emergency Situations;
- Employees involved in the implementation of the evacuation plan for people from buildings and structures in case of fire have not been provided with personal respiratory protective equipment;
- The evacuation plans have not been adjusted according to the form determined by the Ministry of Emergency Situations;
- Smoking is permitted outside specially designated areas.
KFH "Anoshki Agro":
- The territory is not cleared of dry vegetation and combustible waste;
- The facility-wide fire safety instructions have not been developed in accordance with the requirements set by the Ministry of Emergency Situations;
- Smoking is permitted outside specially designated areas;
- There are no primary fire extinguishing means.
Evacuation plans for fire or other emergency situations were practiced with the employees of the facilities, and briefings on fire safety rules were also conducted.
