Attackers pose as university accounting staff and inform that a place in the paid department is almost secured.

To "not lose it," they demand an urgent prepayment.

For credibility, the victim is immediately sent an invoice, QR code, bank details, or a payment link.

If the person hesitates, the scammers start to pressure them: they threaten to cancel the application, refuse admission, or transfer the place to another applicant.

Remember: official payment for tuition is made only after signing the contract and exclusively using the educational institution's bank details.
