It all looks convincing – especially for a child who wants to bypass restrictions and feel like an "adult blogger."Falling for the bait, children follow the link posted in the video description. There, they are met with step-by-step instructions: they "only" need to log into iCloud through the provided form. But as soon as this happens, the device automatically logs out of its account and logs into someone else's – controlled by attackers. The next step is to set a new password and completely block the phone.
From this moment on, the scammers text from different numbers and offer to "return" access for money. They promise to remove the block and restore the data if the parents transfer the required amount. At the same time, threats are often accompanied by pressure and tight deadlines so that the victim does not have time to seek help.
If you have children or younger relatives who use TikTok – be sure to talk to them. Explain that no update requires entering iCloud data.
