Scammers promote an investment scam under the guise of the News.by program "Around the Planet"

Network fraudsters continue to use the familiar scam scheme involving an "investment program" from the enterprise "Belaruskali". This time, to lend credibility to the fake, the scammers used the style and design of the program "Around the Planet".

The updated narrative claims that an "uproar" and "scandal" have arisen in the House of Representatives of Belarus due to a report on the extraordinary incomes of ordinary citizens through investments in "Belaruskali's mineral resources".

What part of this is fake news? Absolutely everything.

No "investment program" from "Belaruskali" exists, and the video excerpt from the TV show "Around the Planet" was generated using a neural network.

The scammers' goal is to lure people into a financial pyramid under the guise of a "secret state program" or a "new investment project" in order to ultimately steal funds and gain access to the victim's personal data for use in other fraudulent purposes.

The News.by TV channel and the program "Around the Planet" have no relation to this fake news.

Neither the parliament nor state bodies have made such reports.

The scammers are counting on gullible viewers to believe the "official" presentation style and follow the links leading to fake investment platforms.
