Annually, at the beginning of the motorcycle season, there is a sharp increase in the number of road traffic accidents involving motorcyclists. Currently, 15 such incidents have been recorded, resulting in 3 fatalities and 16 injuries.
Throughout the country, traffic police officers are conducting operations in populated areas and adjacent roads, aimed at preventing and suppressing traffic rule violations by motorcyclists. Overt, covert, and mixed surveillance methods are being employed, including the use of official motorcycles available to traffic police units.
Aggressive driving and road hooliganism will be strictly suppressed, up to and including the confiscation of vehicles in accordance with the law!
The most common violations include speeding and disregard for maneuvering rules, riding without motorcycle helmets, operating a motorcycle without a license or while intoxicated, carrying passengers exceeding the vehicle's technical capacity, or carrying intoxicated passengers on the rear seat of a motorcycle. Special attention is paid to preventive and educational work to enhance the discipline and driving culture of both leaders and members of official motorcycle clubs and movements, as well as individual owners of two-wheeled vehicles.
