On March 26, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The Marc Chagall Museum, in honour of the 125th anniversary of the renowned artist, is ready to turn every visitor into a creator. This unusual, yet very popular among Europeans initiative, is planned to be implemented in the museum in honour of the anniversary, its director Lyudmila Khmelnytskaya told a BELTA correspondent. The Marc Chagall Museum is one of the most visited in Vitebsk. Annually, at least 20,000 people, including many foreigners, get acquainted with its exhibition. In the anniversary year, the flow of tourists will increase, Lyudmila Khmelnytskaya is confident, however, the museum does not intend to limit itself to traditional excursions. A special offer has been developed for tourist groups, which will be valid from mid-May to the end of September. In particular, tourists visiting the house-museum are invited to try creating a work of art using the monotype technique, which combines printmaking and painting and is so consonant with the work of Chagall as a painter and graphic artist. In the technocratic age, anything made with one's own hands is considered a special chic among Europeans, and learning the skills of various crafts has become a fashionable hobby, which is why the idea of an unusual lesson was born, Lyudmila Khmelnytskaya explained. The master class "Each of us is a Creator" will be conducted by museum employees who have received professional art education. They will talk about monotype, demonstrate simple techniques, and each student will be able to create a graphic work with their own hands. All works by amateur graphic artists will be stamped with the mark "Made at the Marc Chagall Museum", will become the property of the authors - a unique and inimitable souvenir in memory of their acquaintance with the works and life of Marc Chagall. The lesson will take place in the garden of the house-museum. According to Lyudmila Khmelnytskaya, travel companies are already showing interest in organising excursions to the museum. Some of them presented their tours dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the master at international tourism exhibitions in Israel, Germany, and Russia.-0-
