An open-air musical Saturday will be organised in Polotsk on May 27, BELTA was informed at the Polotsk District Executive Committee.
The concert will take place in the courtyard of the Polotsk Children's Art School (7 Kommunisticheskaya Street). "The event will be a gift to the jubilee city in the year of its 1155th anniversary, and will undoubtedly please residents, guests, and numerous Polotsk tourists," the executive committee emphasised.
The concert, consisting of two parts, will feature divertissements by Mozart, as well as instrumental and vocal hits from the 70s-90s of the last century. The musical pieces will be performed by the chamber orchestra "Europe-Center" under the direction of Rail Sadykov and "KYU-quintet" under the direction of Evgeny Tkachenok.
